NVISO, the leading AI human behaviour company, will demonstrate integration of its cutting-edge Human Emotion AI Application with Seeing Machines’ driver monitoring technology at AI Expo in Tokyo, April 1st – 3rd 2020. The announcement comes after 18 months of collaboration between NVISO and Seeing Machines, a leading provider of Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) technology, to provide safer and more personalized experiences for Automotive OEMs through understanding the emotional state of drivers.
Inappropriate human behaviour while driving is responsible for over 80% of all accidents and 25% of accident-related fatalities. New technologies, such as NVISO’s Human Behaviour AI can help assist connected and future autonomous vehicles in not only providing safer driving experiences but improved comfort and security.
NVISO’s AI technologies analyse the driver’s facial features, including micro-facial muscle movements, to detect emotional activity. Integration with driver monitoring systems will enable more intelligent understanding and alerting of the driver based on a deeper understanding of their state.
“Our vision is to help create safer and more personalized driver and passenger experiences by deeply embedding our AI in every car in the world. Working with industry leader Seeing Machines is a great first step to realizing our vision.” said Tim Llewellynn, CEO and Co-founder of NVISO.
“NVISO are leaders in the sensing of human emotion from facial expression and through our collaboration over these past 18 months, we have determined that they have the right skills and tools for the embedding of that technology into high-value automotive solutions. Our goal is to continue to build our world leading DMS technology portfolio to offer more flexibility and choice to our customers. Forming alliances with algorithm specialists like NVISO help us to achieve that.” added Seeing Machines CEO, Paul McGlone.
